SIMULATORS AND COMPUTER AIDED TRAINING SYSTEMS

ANGRUP offers a full range of flexible military vehicle simulators. One example of this is training simulators for the operation of a mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) vehicle. With this, an army trainer can lead the student through a variety of real-life scenarios that will test the skills and focus of personnel.

MRAP Training with the X-CRW

All X-CRW MRAP training simulator solutions have scalable displays to emulate a 180 to 225-degree field-of-view.  X-CRW hardware configurations range from full six-degree-of-freedom motion-based sims to fixed-base simulators with motion seats and force-feedback steering.  Simulator cabs can be generic (with swappable dashboards and instruments), built into actual production vehicle cabs, or swappable cabs. The simulation software automatically changes the field-of-view and driving dynamics to match the real-world idiosyncrasies of various armor systems or load types.

Better Results

ANGRUP’s Military Operator Driving Simulator (X-CRW) has been field-proven to give better results at reduced training costs:

  • Improve knowledge retention by up to 90%
  • Increase driver efficiency by up to 200%
  • Reduce accident rate
  • Reduce vehicle operation and maintenance costs

MRAP Training Simulation Solutions

Your simulation solution can be installed in a fixed-site facility or self-contained trailers (easily relocated: all mobile X-CRW systems are climate controlled and can run on shore power or onboard generator).

Most importantly, X-CRW solutions come with an advanced software suite that coordinates motion cues, visual cues, and scenarios while taking trainees through your validated curriculum.  The standard software package includes a six-level training curriculum, ranging from Beginner Driver up through Advanced Tactical Driver.

Training scenarios are built on our extensive visual library of generic or site-specific environments and include all weather conditions and both scripted and autonomous entities.

This learning system increases scenario difficulty as trainee performance warrants while monitoring the driver along with more than 50 parameters. Whenever a customer-defined threshold is exceeded on any parameter, the instructor is alerted via the Instructor Operator Station (IOS).

Drivers are scored dynamically, based on current skill level and past performance.  If trainees fail a scenario, the learning software can recommend remedial scenarios.  But the instructor is always in control:  The instructor can always opt for a different scenario, or modify a scenario in real-time, changing weather, light conditions, visibility, adding vehicle malfunctions, and so on.

MILITARY TRAINING AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES

We have close cooperation with Turkish Special Forces training service organizations and bodies. All members of our training organization graduated from the Turkish Special Forces (TSF) and Turkish Naval Special Warfare (SAT) Course which are considered as one of the hardest and challenging trainings in their areas in the World.
During their assignments as Commanding Officer (CO), Team Leader, and operator in TSF and SAT for years, they participated in high-level training, courses, exercises, and real-world missions. All have expertise on common fields like combat marksmanship, CQB, VBSS, demolition, combat diving, military freefall, and others as well as skills that they gained from international courses given below.
  • Our training approach is to provide ‘mission readiness’, at the end of the training the team should be ready for any challenging mission.
  • Our training is conducted using a customer-specific hands-on training program which is developed in accordance with the customer’s requirements with the professional project management discipline

SOF OPERATIONS

  • SF conducts operations in all operational environments but is best suited for hostile and uncertain environments.
  • SF can be tailored to achieve not only military objectives through the application of SOF capabilities for which there are no broad conventional force requirements, but also to support the application of the diplomatic, informational, and economic instruments of national power.
  • SF operations are typically low visibility or clandestine.
  • SF activities are applicable across the range of military operations.
  • They can be conducted independently or in conjunction with operations of conventional forces, other government agencies, or HNs/partner nations, and may include operations with or through indigenous, insurgent, and/or irregular forces.
  • SF operations differ from conventional operations in the degree of political sensitivity and operational risk, dependence on detailed operational intelligence and indigenous assets, operational techniques, and modes of employment.

CORE ACTIVITIES OF SF

  • UW
  • FID
  • Security force assistance
  • Counterinsurgency
  • Direct action
  • Special reconnaissance.
  • Counterterrorism.

PHASES OF SO

  • Planning and Preparation
  • Infiltration
  • Execution
  • Exfiltration

CANDIDATES

  • Candidates are officers, non-commissioned officers, and specialist sergeants who are willing to serve in Special Forces Teams and have successfully passed the pre-determined Special Forces Entry standards.
